Mystery at the MAC event invitation

One of the more playful projects I was asked to do recently involved designing the invitation for the Peggy R. McConnell Art Center’s big annual fundraising gala. The event featured different room at the MAC each celebrating a different famous literary detective, plus a “mystery” for guests to solve over the course of the night in the spirit of the game “Clue.” The invitation was designed to feel like an old leather novel with gold leaf. Additionally I added a picture of the MAC with a magnifying glass to look as though someone was investigating the image.
